The Story

In need of a Halloween costume for a middle school dance, Elizabeth Castellon embarked on her journey of becoming a fashion designer at the age of 10. This is when her passion for design was ignited as she uncovered her skills and dream of becoming a designer.

She learned the foundations of patternmaking and garment construction at the High School of Fashion Industries. After graduating high school, she attended SUNY Oneonta, where she developed her skills by participating in the annual fashion shows. With free range, she was able to showcase her exploration and experimentation with design.

She then went on to pursue her masters at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Here is where she discovered her talent for designing Menswear.  Fueled by her newfound niche, she designed a collection that was chosen to be showcased at Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week.

 

After graduating from the Academy of Art University, she embarked on her career as a freelance designer. As she gained experience and knowledge, she was moved/eager to launch her own collection; Caste by Castellon, a luxury men's outerwear apparel line.

Caste by Castellon is a brand that strives for timelessness and effortlessness, merging classic menswear with today's ever-changing fashion culture Caste by Castellon aims to provide garments that allow the wearer to assemble the best version of themselves before they walk out the door. It is a brand that does not mask who the wearer is, but allows them to recreate themselves. Whatever the ensemble, who they are  on that day, at that moment, in that hour will shine through with Caste by Castellon.
